Venus Magazine is a tri-annual, international publishing journal accepting work from artists and writers in three online issues. 

At Venus, we accept work from those of all ages, locations, race, gender, sexuality, etc. We will not consider inappropriate submissions that expose any person or group of persons to discrimination. We do not judge purely on style, so although browsing through our previous issues may be good indicators of work that we like, you are not subjected to follow the same artistic forms. 

All of our submissions are read blindly. Please do not put any identifying information other than in the cover letter, as we will automatically reject submissions that do so otherwise. In the cover letter, make sure to include a short biography and say a quick hello! Additionally, we have begun to accept only unpublished work, so anything that has been previously published will not be open to submitting. We encourage simultaneous submissions as we know how long waits are! If your work has been accepted elsewhere before we have gotten a chance to respond, please inform us and withdraw your submission. We aim to respond within 10 weeks, but if you haven't heard back, feel free to send a query to submitvenus@gmail.com. If you have any other questions, comments, or business inquiries, we are also contactable there. 

We ask that Venus Magazine retains all first North American publishing rights after you publish with us.  Your rights return to you after publication, but you must cite us in any future journals.
